India Animal Fund – Powering The Next Frontier Of Social Justice
India Animal Fund (IAF) was born of a dire need to build on expertise and efforts, bring in new thinking, a professional approach to identifying problems, and raising resources, and executing with accountability and measurability. It is a backbone organisation, bringing to the same table people with means, organisations with project execution capabilities, and causes that had to be addressed with speed and at scale. Conceptualising the platform and creating the organisation had to be followed up with letting the world know about IAF.
Three months of arduous planning, support from celebrities, experts, and sponsors resulted in the launch of IAF via a two-hour telethon on NDTV – hosted by Dr Pranoy Roy, and a star participation to cover the causes IAF focused on, thereby creating initial donor interest to support (here).
