Sheera

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Rawa / Semolina / Sooji
  • 3 tbsp + ½ tsp Plant-based Ghee (We’ve used “One Good”)
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 1/2 cups Hot Water
  • A few assorted dry fruits like Almonds, Cashew and Raisins
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder

Garnish: Almonds, Raisins
In a pot (kadai) put 3 tbsp of plant-based ghee, cloves and sooji. Roast well until it turns pinkish and smells fragrant.
Add the hot water while stirring regularly, followed by the assorted dry fruits.
Add the sugar and cardamom powder. Continue stirring to avoid lumps from forming.
Once all the water is absorbed, cover with a lid for 5 minutes.
Add ½ tsp of One Good Ghee and stir.
Turn off the heat and serve hot.

Garnish with almonds and raisins.
