Malai Pedha

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp Date Powder
  • 1 cup Cashews
  • 3 tbsp Date Paste
  • 30 gms Tofu
  • 3 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
  • ½ tsp Green Cardamom Powder
  • Pinch of Salt

Start by putting all the cashews into a blender and mix until you’ve obtained a fine powder. Empty the cashew powder into a bowl, add all the remaining ingredients and knead with your hands until everything is well combined and the mixture looks like a very thick dough/paste. Break off small pieces, roll them into balls and then press them into flat pedhas. Garnish with pistachios or other dried fruits.
