Pour out the water used for soaking the almonds and put the almonds in the blender. Add the water, little by little, to make sure the mixture is blended well and that the pulp is very smooth.
Break a coconut open in half (and make sure you collect the water inside: there won’t be a lot inside a mature coconut, but it is delicious!) and extract the kernel by using one of two methods.
Soak the peanuts overnight. Remove them from the soaking water and put them into a blender. Add the water (½ cup at a time) and blend well until you’ve used the entire 2 cups of water.

Because of the natural oils present in cashews, the milk will be quite creamy and thick. You can add 1 - 2 more cups of water to thin it out if you’re using it for drinks (smoothies, shakes, tea, coffee…) or to put into breakfast cereal.
Put the soybeans into a blender (and put the skins and soaking water in your compost or use them directly to water your plants!). Add 2 cups of water, little by little, to the beans and blend well. Once they are well blended, you’ll see a lot of froth.
